“Community” and “Rick and Morty” co-creator Dan Harmon is teaming with “Strange Planet” Nathan Pyle to adapt the latter’s webcomic and graphic novels into an animated series for Apple TV+.
A straight-to-series order has been handed out for the project based on the stories of big-eyed, bright blue ‘beings’ from a planet that shares a lot in common with Earth.
Amalia Levari is set as showrunner while Pyle, Harmon, Steve Levy and Taylor Alexy Pyle executive produce. ShadowMachine (“Bojack Horseman”) is doing the animation.
