Golden Globe nominee Paul Dano (“There Will Be Blood,” “The Batman”) and multiple SAG nominee Kunal Nayyar (“The Big Bang Theory”) have joined the cast of the Adam Sandler-led sci-fi drama “Spaceman” at Netflix.
“Chernobyl” helmer Johan Renck directs this adaptation of the Jaroslav Kalfar novel “Spaceman of Bohemia” with Sandler playing an astronaut sent to the edge of the galaxy to collect mysterious ancient dust.
He soon finds his earthly life falling to pieces and turns to the only voice who can help him try to put it back together – a creature from the beginning of time lurking in the shadows of his ship.
Carey Mulligan recently joined the film which Colby Day is adapting. Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan and Michael Parets produce.
