“Star Wars” alum Daisy Ridley will star in and executive produce a series adaptation of Nina de Gramont’s novel “The Christie Affair”.
The story deals with the vanishing of author Agatha Christie over the space of eleven days in 1926 following news of her husband’s affair becoming public.
The reimagining is told through the eyes of her husband’s mistress Nan O’Dea (Ridley) whose life becomes entwined with Agatha in ways neither expected.
Juliette Towhidi (“Calendar Girls”) will adapt the script with Miramax TV producing. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Rich Green, Jeremy Bell, and DJ Goldberg all executive produce.
