“Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” has reportedly now crossed the one billion hours viewed mark in its first sixty days on Netflix.
The Ryan Murphy-produced series becomes just the third to do so, following “Squid Game” and the fourth season of “Stranger Things”.
The Evan Peters-led ten-episode series spent seven weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10, making the list in 92 countries. It is currently Netflix’s second most popular English-language TV series of all time.
Despite the big numbers, it is behind the other two as “Stranger Things” S4 had 1.35 billion hours viewed in its first month, whilst “Squid Game” remains the global juggernaut with a staggering 1.65 billion hours viewed.
Netflix has already ordered two additional installments of the “Monster” franchise following the success of “Dahmer”.
