The CW has announced that the iconic comic book storyline “Crisis On Infinite Earths” will serve as the story for their next DC series crossover in Fall 2019.
Said storyline has been specifically teased throughout much of “The Flash” throughout its run so far and the announcement was made following “Elseworlds, Part 3,” the third and final installment of this year’s crossover which aired tonight.
Upon the announcement, Stephem Amell shared the official logo on his social media feed. Though not confirmed, it’s expected that once again all four series – “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow” will be involved. It could even go bigger if “Batwoman” is greenlit.
That differs from this year as ‘Legends’ sat things out to deal with their own problems as John Constantine (Matt Ryan) broke reality trying to save his boyfriend Desmond Laveau from damnation.
