Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, Katherine Waterston, Joel Fry, Gina McKee and Nina Sosanya are set to join Jodie Comer in the Mahalia Belo-directed dystopian survival film “The End We Start From”.
Based on the novel by Megan Hunter and adapted by Alice Birch (“Normal People”), the story is set in the midst of an environmental crisis when devastating floods swallow up the city of London.
The sction follows a woman dealing with the trials and joys of new motherhood as she sets out on a journey home. Leah Clarke, Adam Ackland, Liza Marshall, Amy Jackson and Sophie Hunter produce the project which is currently filming.
