Acclaimed filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron (“Gravity”) and this year’s Oscar winning actor Casey Affleck are teaming up for a new premium drama series at Anonymous Content.
The project, which will be pitched to pay cable and streaming outlets, is said to be a horror genre series that tracks the origins of a cult. Further story specifics are under wraps.
Cuaron is writing and directing, Affleck is starring and both are executive producing the series which would mark Affleck’s first TV series role.
