Due to so many delays, Paramount Pictures has issued multiple trailers now for “Top Gun: Maverick”. That said, it has been a while since we’ve seen one.
We kind of got one over the weekend though as, in an act of corporate synergy, CBS Sports released footage from the film incorporated into the introduction AFC Championship football match.
Tom Cruise is on hand to introduce the two teams that played – the Bengals and the Chiefs – with the Bengals ultimately winning and set to go on to the Superbowl in mid-February.
In the upcoming movie, Cruise’s Pete “Maverick” Mitchell has returned to his naval air force school to become an instructor. The cast also includes Miles Teller, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Lewis Pullman, Jay Ellis and Danny Ramirez.
“Top Gun: Maverick” finally hits cinemas on May 27th.
