Paramount+ has premiered the trailer for “Criminal Minds: Evolution,” the upcoming revival of the long-running CBS procedural, which ran from 2005-2020.
The series follows Behavioral Analysis Unit’s elite profilers as they face a mysterious antagonist, an UnSub who used the pandemic to build a network of serial killers.
When the network is set in motion, the team must bring down their greatest threat, one murderer at a time.
Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangsness, A.J. Cook, Paget Brewster, Aisha Tyler and Adam Rodriguez reprise their characters while Zach Gilford and Josh Stewart appear in recurring roles.
Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney, who played Dr. Spencer Reid and Special Agent Matt Simmons, respectively, are not yet confirmed to appear in the reboot.
The ten-episode first season premieres with a two-episode special on November 24th on Paramount+ with new episodes weekly through December 15th. Then it has a four-week hiatus and returns on January 12th, running through February 9th.
