Coppola Finalises His “Megalopolis” Cast

Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman, Chloe Fineman, Isabelle Kusman, D.B. Sweeney, and newcomer Bailey Ives have rounded out the cast of Francis Ford Coppola’s epic drama “Megalopolis” which will shoot this Fall in Georgia.

The new names join Adam Driver, Forest Whitaker and Nathalie Emmanuel in the three lead roles with Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Talia Shire, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Schwartzman, Grace Vanderwaal, Kathryn Hunter, Aubrey Plaza and James Remar in supporting roles.

In the film, the fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in an epic story of political ambition, genius and conflicted love. Budgeted at just under $100 million, the film is being independently financed by Coppola, who directs from his own script.
