Cool People Productions LLC has acquired film rights to trial attorney Ronald H. Balson’s 2010 bestselling self-published WWII novel “Once We Were Brothers”.
Switching between modern-day Chicago and WWII Poland, the story follows a respected philanthropist who is accused of being a former Nazi SS Officer by a mentally unstable man.
A young female attorney is pulled into the case, which ultimately deals with a childhood friendship that was ripped apart during the Holocaust.
Billy Asher Rosenfeld will produce.
