With the game having gone gold, the “Mass Effect: Legendary Edition” has locked in its May 14th release date and will arrive that day.
With one month to go, EA has released a new trailer showing off comparison shots from the remaster with the original side-by-side, with onscreen graphics to point out the various differences.
The changes include over 30,000 enhanced or remade textures, 4K base assets, tone mapping, volumetric lighting, bloom, ambient occlusion, depth of field, improved particle effects, subsurface scattering, more detailed 3D models, relit cut scenes and more.
“Mass Effect: Legendary Edition” is available now for pre-order on PC via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with compatibility on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X & S.
