The George Clooney directed coming-of-age drama “The Tender Bar” has set its release date and released its first official photo.
Amazon Studios has announced a December 17th theatrical release for the film, followed by an Amazon Prime launch on January 7th.
Based on J.R. Moehringer’s bestselling memoir, the story recollects the time Moehringer (Tye Sheridan) spent searching for unlikely father figures among the patrons at the bar of his uncle Charlie (Ben Affleck) in Long Island.
Oscar-winning scribe William Monahan adapted the script while Clooney, Grant Heslov and Ted Hope produce.
