Paramount Pictures has dropped the first clip from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 – Lost in New Jersey, a new short film getting a theatrical release.
The new short will make its debut attached to copies of “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” which releases in cinemas on December 19th.
Kent Seki directs the short, which has the titular brothers travelling to New Jersey for the first time in the middle of winter due to a mishap.
They find themselves going up against a mysterious toy company which has been exploiting the turtles’ newfound fame. They also come across a shocking discovery.
The tale is set in the same universe as the 2023 TMNT animated feature “Mutant Mayhem” and further shorts could follow should this be a success.
A sequel to ‘Mutant Mayhem’ is in the works and opens September 17th 2027.
