“Class of ’09,” “Great,” “Mulligan” Promos

A couple of TV promo trailers today. FX has released a trailer for “Class of ’09,” its new limited series exploring the ramifications of Artificial Intelligence through the lives of several FBI agents.

The original drama hails from “Child 44” author and “MotherFatherSon” creator Tom Rob Smith and unfolds across three distinct points in time as these people grapple with immense changes as the U.S. criminal justice system changes to accomodate A.I.

Brian Tyree Henry, Kate Mara, Sepideh Moafi, Brian J. Smith, Jon Jon Briones, Brooke Smith, Jake McDorman, and Rosalind Eleazar co-star in the series which debuts on May 10th.

Next up, Hulu’s acclaimed period black comedy series “The Great” returns for a third season and the official trailer for that has been released.

The show stars Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult as Catherine the Great and Peter III of Russia respectively as this season the pair attempt to work on their marriage whilst dealing with their own problems. All ten episodes will be released on May 12th.

Finally there’s the trailer for the new Netflix animated series “Mulligan” which hails from “30 Rock” and “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” pair Robert Carlock and Sam Means.

In the series Earth is destroyed by an alien attack, and a rag-tag band of survivors has to start society over from scratch. It’s an opportunity to learn from humanity’s past mistakes and get things right this time. Or make the same mistakes all over again.

The voice cast includes Nat Faxon, Chrissy Teigen, Tina Fey, Sam Richardson, Dana Carvey and Phil LaMarr along with guest stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ayo Edebiri, Ronny Chieng, and Kevin Michael Richardson. The series debuts on May 12th.
