Apple TV+ has premiered the official trailer for the Chris Evans-led new limited series “Defending Jacob” which will premiere on April 24th.
Based on William Landay’s crime drama novel of the same name, the character-driven thriller follows a shocking crime that rocks a small Massachusetts town.
Evans plays an Assistant District Attorney who finds himself torn between his sworn duty to uphold justice, and his unconditional love for his 14-year-old son (Jaeden Martell), who is being accused of murder.
Michelle Dockery, Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, Sakina Jaffrey, Paul Wesley, Leighton Meester, Daniel Henshall and Matt Lanter co-star. Mark Bomback adapted the script while Morten Tyldum directs.
