Netflix has released the full trailer for “La La Land” and “First Man” director Damien Chazelle’s eight-episode limited musical drama series “The Eddy” which debuts May 8th.
“Moonlight” and “High Flying Bird” star Andre Holland plays a former celebrated jazz pianist trying to keep his struggling Parisian jazz club from getting shut down while also dealing with gangsters and the arrival of his daughter (Amandla Stenberg).
The project marks Chazelle’s first time directing a television series. Joanna Kulig, Leila Bekhti, and Tahar Rahim co-star.
