Lance Reddick has signed on to star in the “John Wick” spin-off “Ballerina,” reprising his role of The Continental’s concierge Charon.
Shay Hatten wrote the script for the new film, which involves a young woman (Ana de Armas) who uses killer skills to get revenge when her family is slaughtered by hitmen.
Reddick joins fellow returnees Angelica Huston and Ian McShane, who are also back in their respective roles for the spin-off.
Producer Erica Lee says in a statement: “Charon is an indispensable part of the world of Wick. It’s great to know that Lance will continue to make his mark on this franchise.”
Len Wiseman directs the project, with filming currently underway. Basil Iwanyk and Chad Stahelski produce.
