Famed comedian Dave Chappelle has surprise released the new 27-minute comedy special “8:46” through Netflix’s YouTube comedy channel.
The special was reportedly performed on June 6th in Ohio in front of a socially-distanced audience all wearing masks in an outdoor setup. The title refers to the amount of time Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on George Floyd’s neck, resulting in Floyd’s death.
Much of the special centers around Floyd’s death and the subsequent protests along with Chappelle criticising a range of media commentators. Click the link below to head over to the page to view the special.
