Channing Tatum will star in a remake of the acclaimed 2019 German film System Crasher” for MGM, Free Association and The Picture Company.
The original film revolves around a young girl with a traumatic past who is seen as a hopeless cause in the system. She soon gets paired with a caring, but tough anger management coach and forms an unlikely bond and he helps her find peace by nurturing her passion for boxing.
Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Alex Heineman & Andrew Rona will produce. Garret Levitz will write the script.
The news comes as the Tatum-led MGM and Free Association film “Dog” hits theaters today.
