John Cena and Jason Momoa are set to team-up for the rowdy action comedy “Killer Vacation” at Warner Bros. Pictures.
The “Peacemaker” and “Aquaman” stars will team for the project after working together on a brief cameo on Cena’s “Peacemaker” along with more substantial interaction in the upcoming tenth “Fast and Furious” film.
The pair had such a “natural chemistry” according to sources for Variety that they were looking to team up again on something else – so this came up.
Plot specifics of the new entry are under wraps, but Mark and Brian Gunn penned the script with a tone said to be akin to James Cameron’s “True Lies”.
John Rickard and Peter Safran will produce.
