Cbs Sets Its 2022 23 Schedule
CBS

CBS will add four new series to an otherwise mostly familiar schedule for next season. The new series will essentially be filling the spaces left by CBS finishing “Bull,” axing “Magnum P.I.” and scrapping several of its comedies from last season.

Most of the changes are confined to the back half of the week with Wednesdays turned into a full night of reality programming, Thursdays scrapping the two-hour comedy block in favor of just one, and Fridays and Sundays going big on multiple procedurals.

New series include legal drama “So Help Me Todd,” the cop drama “East New York,” the cruise ship-set dating reality series “The Real Love Boat,” and the high profile first-responder drama “Fire Country”. ‘Fire’ will see its star Max Thierot doing double duty starring in major roles in both this series (which he helped create) and “SEAL Team” on the Paramount+ service.

The planned TV adaptation of James Cameron’s “True Lies” will come mid-season, along with a few unscripted series.
