CBS has renewed all three shows in Dick Wolf’s “FBI” franchise for an additional two seasons each.
The orders take them through the 2023-24 season with the original “FBI” getting up to six seasons, “FBI: Most Wanted” getting up a fifth and the freshman “FBI: International” getting up to a third.
“FBI” averages 10.35 million viewers per episode in Live+7, second among network entertainment series this season. Not far behind are ‘Most Wanted’ at 8.85 million and ‘International’ at 8.31 million.
They join the second year of three-season pickups for all of Wolf’s three “Chicago” series and his long-running “Law & Order: SVU”. The only Wolf shows that haven’t scored renewals for next year are the recent “Law & Order” revival and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” though both are considered safe bets for pickups.
