Oscar nominee Catherine Keener (“The Adam Project,” “Get Out”) has set a major role opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in the Todd Phillips-directed “Joker: Folie à Deux” at Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films.
She joins an expanding supporting cast that includes Brendan Gleeson and the return of Zazie Beetz. Specifics of all the non-lead roles are under wraps.
Phillips is returning to direct and also co-wrote the script with Scott Silver. The project is expected to have musical elements and will be set in Arkham Asylum.
Production is expected to get underway this December ahead of a release on October 4th 2024.
