Deep Six
Former “Smallville” alum Tom Welling has signed on to star in Scott Windhauser’s action-thriller “Deep Six” which will begin shooting in Rome in April.
Welling plays a recently released prisoner forced to go undercover to take down the Cosa Nostra in Italy. On his first day, his fellow six-man undercover unit is taken out and he must ride shotgun all day with a psychopath killer who may know he is working for the police. [Source: Deadline]
Untitled Bob Marley Biopic
Kingsley Ben-Adir (“One Night in Miami”) has been confirmed as the star of the forthcoming Bob Marley biopic being produced by Ziggy Marley and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (“King Richard”) for Paramount Pictures.
The story will focus on the making of Marley’s classic album ‘Exodus’ with The Wailers, which he recorded after moving to London following an unsuccessful assassination attempt in Jamaica. [Source: NME]

Ken Watanabe will replace Benedict Wong in “Rogue One” helmer near-future sci-fi movie “True Love”. Wong reportedly exited due to scheduling conflicts. Cold Sun
Tara Reid will play inexperienced MI6 agent Marsha Ravencourt in the Jason Figgis-directed espionage thriller “Cold Sun”. Filming begins this summer in the U.K. and Malta.
Patrick Bergin, Rita Tushingham, Ian Ogilvy and Gabriella Wright star in the film which follows two women who team up to take down an international gang of murderous criminals led by a ruthless oil tycoon. [Source: Variety]
