Cooper Raiff and Dakota Johnson will co-star in Raiff’s newest directorial effort “Cha Cha Real Smooth” at Picturestart and Endeavor Content.

Raiff stars a bar mitzvah party starter – a guy who gets the young crowd dancing and having fun – while he separately strikes up a friendship with a young mother (Johnson) and her autistic daughter. [Source: Deadline]

Expiration Date
Will Forte is attached to star in the dark suburban soap series “Expiration Date” at Peacock. Forte plays a man who, consumed by grief, finds a life insurance policy that covers suicide – provided that the individual doesn’t carry out the deed within one year.

Content that his family will be provided for, Robin sets his expiration date and contemplates how he will spend his final year. It’s going to be a long twelve months. Harry and Jack Williams (“Fleabag”) conceived and will produce the series. [Source: Variety

Bingo
Tony Award-winning actress L. Scott Caldwell (“Lost,” “The Fugitive”) will star in the Gigi Saul Guerrero-directed thriller “Bingo” for Blumhouse and Amazon.

The story follows a strong and stubborn group of elderly friends who refuse to be gentrified. Little do they know that their beloved Bingo hall is about to be sold to a much more powerful force than money. Joshua Caleb Johnson and Adriana Barraza co-star. [Source: Variety]

Willow
Ruby Cruz (“Castle Rock”) has scored the female co-lead role opposite Ellie Bamber and Erin Kellyman in the Disney+ and Lucasfilm sequel series “Willow”. She replaces Cailee Spaeny in the role of a princess.

The follow-up to the 1988 fantasy movie sees Warwick Davis reprising his title role and is joined by Tony Revolori. Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle serve as showrunners in the film which is set years later in the same fantasy realm with a group on a mission to save a kidnapped prince. [Source: Deadline]

The Boys Spin-Off
Jaz Sinclair (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) will join Lizzie Broadway in the ensemble cast for the pilot of “The Boys” spin-off series which is presently untitled. The R-rated series will center on a Hunger Games-esque college for superheroes run by Vought International. Sinclair will portray a young supe by the name of Marie. [Source:
