American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story
Anna Paquin has scored the lead opposite Zachary Levi in “American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story” at Kingdom Story Company and Lionsgate. Jon and Andrew Erwin are directing.
The story chronicles the true story of Kurt Warner, who went from stocking shelves at a supermarket to become a two-time Super Bowl MVP and Hall of Fame quarterback. Paquin will play Brenda Warner, Kurt’s wife. [Source: Deadline]

The Black Phone
Jeremy Davies has joined the cast of “Sinister” duo Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill’s new horror film “The Black Phone” based on a short story by Joe Hill. Shooting is expected to begin soon.
The story follows a kidnapped boy locked in a basement with a creepy, unconnected telephone that suddenly starts ringing. Since the kidnapper is the only adult in the story, Davies will be playing that character. Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw also star. [Source: Slashfilm]
Only Murders In The Building
Nathan Lane has joined the Hulu comedy series “Only Murders in the Building” opposite Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Lane will play a building resident and owner of a popular New York City grocery chain.
The series follows three strangers (Martin, Short and Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. Amy Ryan also stars. [Source: Deadline]
Old Henry
Stephen Dorff, Trace Adkins, Scott Haze and Gavin Lewis will join Tim Blake Nelson in the western action feature “Old Henry” at Shout! Studios and Hideout Pictures. Shooting is now underway on location in Tennessee.
