Shots! Shots! Shots!
Universal Pictures has picked up the action-comedy “Shots! Shots! Shots!,” from scribes Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows (“The Package”). Jeff Fierson, Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich also produce.

Jason Momoa is attached to star in and produce the family-centric adventure said to be a blend of “True Lies,” “Taken” and “The Lost City”. Plot specifics are under wraps. [Source: THR]

The One and Only Sparkella
Channing Tatum will star in a live-action film adaptation of his 2021 children’s book “The One and Only Sparkella” at MGM. Pamela Ribon (“Moana”) will pen the script.

The story will take on the magic of Sparkella that sees a father and his daughter fall headlong into the infinitely surprising world of her imagination. Tatum, Michael Parets, Peter Kiernan, Reid Carolin and Cody Carolin produce. [Source: The Wrap]

The Hermit
Lou Ferrigno is set to play a murderous, cannibalistic pig farmer in Italian director Salvatore Sclafani’s quirky English-language horror film “The Hermit”. Shooting is set to start in August in Syracuse New York.

The story follows two teenagers on a fishing trip who venture off-trail, stumble across a farm and The Hermit – a loner who makes jerky out of ‘long pig’. [Source: Variety]

Mace
Trevor Jackson (“Eureka,” “Grown-ish”) will join James Franco in Jon Amiel’s “Mace” for Myriad Pictures. Franco plays the titular amoral, corrup veteran cop. Jackson plays a young rookie who believes that he can change the system that fosters cop like Mace from within.

Inspired by the recent racial injustice on the streets of America, Woods refuses to be bullied and pits his principles against the deranged Mace who unleashes a gang war to cover up his crimes. P-ssy Island
Simon Rex will join Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie in Zoe Kravitz’s feature directorial debut “P-ssy Island” for MGM. Rex will play the chef, trainer and oldest friend of Tatum’s character.

The story follows a cocktail waitress who has her eyes set on philanthropist and tech mogul Slater King (Tatum). When she skillfully maneuvers her way to an intimate gathering on his private island where she realises something is very wrong. [Source: Deadline]
