Jason Woliner’s untitled series at Peacock has added five new cast members – Frank Grillo, Rosanna Arquette, Dennis Haysbert, Melinda McGraw and Dee Wallace. The series blends fact and fiction to tell a bizarre and incredible tale, but no other plot details are available.

Woliner, who serves as director and executive producer, has reportedly been shooting footage for the show for over a decade. Seth Rogen, Megan Ellison and more executive produce. [Source: Variety]

Glamorous
Kim Cattrall is set to play a makeup mogul in the Netflix series “Glamorous” which was previously set up as a pilot at The CW and has now been ordered as a ten-episode series by the streamer. Filming beings in Toronto in July.

The story follows Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a gender non-conforming queer person who goes to work for cosmetics queen Madolyn Addison (Cattrall). [Source: Variety]

The Diplomat
Pearl Mackie (“Doctor Who”) and Jess Chanliau (“Brave New World”) have scored recurring roles alongside Keri Russell in the eight-part political thriller series “The Diplomat” at Netflix. Filming is underway in the UK.

The story is set in the midst of an international crisis as a career diplomat lands a high-profile job she’s unsuited for which has tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future. Rufus Sewell, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, Michael McKean and Celia Imrie also star. [Source: THR]

Theater Camp
Ben Platt, Noah Galvin, Molly Gordon, Amy Sedaris and Alan S. Kim will star in the musical comedy film “Theater Camp” for Picturestart, Topic Studios, and Gloria Sanchez Productions.

The story revolves around the staff of a theater camp in New York who come together and team up with the founder’s son to keep the camp from closing after his mother falls into a coma. [Source: Collider]

Mrs. Davis
Ben Chaplin (“The Nevers”), Andy McQueen (“Station Eleven”) and Margo Martindale (“Justified”) are set to join Betty Gilpin and Jake McDorman in the Peacock drama series “Mrs. Davis”.

Hailing from creators Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez, the project is an exploration of faith vs technology as Gilpin plays a nun who takes on an all-powerful artificial intelligence. [Source: THR]
