The Substance
Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley will star in “Revenge” filmmaker Coralie Fargeat’s new thriller “The Substance” for Universal Pictures and Working Title Films. Filming begins in Paris this May.

Hot Milk
Jessie Buckley (“The Lost Daughter”), Fiona Shaw (“Killing Eve”) and Vicky Krieps (“Old”) have signed on to star in “Colette” screenwriter Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s directorial feature debut “Hot Milk” based on Deborah Levy’s best-selling novel.
The story follows a mother (Shaw) and daughter (Buckley) who travel to a Spanish clinic in Almeria in the hope of finding a cure for the older woman’s paralysis. Krieps plays an enigmatic traveller the daughter befriends. [Source: Variety]

Woody Harrelson, Kaitlin Olson, Cheech Marin, and Matt Cook will star in Bobby Farrelly’s English-language adaptation of the Spanish film “Champions” at Focus Features.

Former “Doctor Who” star Matt Smith and “Saint Maud” actress Morfydd Clark are set to star in Daniel Kokotajlo’s stylistic supernatural horror film “Starve Acre”. Filming begins this Spring in the UK.
The film is based on Andrew Michael Hurley’s novel and explores inherited trauma and loss within a world ruled by supernatural folklore. The actors play a disconnected couple in 1970s England who are worried about their son’s strange behaviour. [Source: Variety]
