Paramount may not have confirmed a start date, but production on the third “Star Trek” film looks to be well underway with Spock and Uhura themselves, actors Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana, posting on social media photos and video of themselves preparing to reprise their characters.
Paramount has yet to officially announce start of production on the project, thought to be titled “Star Trek Beyond”, which is slated to open next July. The first piece of filming on the Justin Lin-directed sequel is said to be taking place in Canada’s Stawamus Chief Provincial Park
