Michael Mann’s biographical drama feature “Ferrari” has received an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA during the strike.

As the film is produced by Neon, an independent studio not affiliated with the AMPTP, the movie has encountered no issue receiving waivers from SAG-AFTRA.

The story is set during the summer of 1957, the pic finds ex-Formula 1 racer Enzo Ferrari in crisis. Bankruptcy stalks the company he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing 10 years earlier.

As their tempestuous marriage struggles with as they mourn their son, Ferrari struggles with his driver’s lust to win which pushes them out to the edge. He wagers all in a roll of the dice on one race, the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia.

The film stars Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari and Penélope Cruz as Laura Ferrari along with Shailene Woodley, Gabriel Leone, Sarah Gadon, Jack O’Connell, Patrick Dempsey, Michelle Savoia, Erik Haugen, Andrea Dolente, and Giuseppe Bonifati.

“Ferrari” gets a wide theatrical release on December 25th.

The news comes as producer Alex Boden has confirmed to Variety that the second season of Mann’s “Tokyo Vice” seres on Max was able to complete principal photography just before the Hollywood strikes and is currently in post-production.
