Carpenter’s “Halloween” Gets A Video Game

Gun Interactive

IllFonic and Gun Interactive have premiered the trailer for a new “Halloween” video game based on the famed 1978 film.

The project is dubbed an asymmetric stealth horror game and will feature both single and multiplayer modes.

Players can take on the role of the iconic horror legend Michael Myers in the project, which is set to release next year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

You can either stick to the shadows as Civilians, seeking out Haddonfield residents to warn them and searching for a way to contact the authorities.

Or, as Michael Myers, you can find ways to prevent the police from ruining his favourite holiday. There’s a story mode, playing with bots offline, or facing others in online multiplayer, with each mode rewarding stealth, strategy, and skilful play.

The project is being developed alongside Compass International Pictures and Further Front and was revealed at the Future Game Show during Gamescom..
