The second season of Amazon Prime’s fantasy series “Carnival Row” began shooting back in 2020, and now the streamer has set a release date whilst also confirming it has cancelled the series – making this the final season.
The new run will reunite audiences with Philo (Orlando Bloom) as he continues investigating a series of gruesome murders that stoked social tension. Vignette (Cara Delevigne) and the Black Raven continue to plot payback for the unjust oppression inflicted by The Burgue’s human leaders.
Meanwhile, Tourmaline (Karla Crome) is faced with the supernatural powers she inherited that threaten her fate and the future of The Row. Social unrest continues to plague Imogen Spurnrose (Tamzin Merchant) and Agreus Astrayon (David Gyasi) after escaping The Burgue and her vengeful brother Ezra (Andrew Gower).
Hints that this would be the end were revealed in a social media post by series star Orlando Bloom who seemed to bid farewell to his character at the time.
Amazon Prime premieres the ten-episode final season of “Carnival Row” starting on February 17th.
