Carla Gugino has scored a role as a lethal assassin in the Navot Papushado-directed action thriller “Gunpowder Milkshake” at Studiocanal and The Picture Company.
The story is described as a high-concept story dealing with mother-daughter assassins and a rich mythology that spans several generations.
She joins a cast that includes Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett and Paul Giamatti. Gugino will play part of a secret sisterhood who come together to help Gillan’s character when things go south.
Papushado co-wrote the script with Ehud Lavski. Filming begins next month in Berlin.
