Carey Mulligan will play Felicia, the wife of legendary composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein, in Bradley Cooper’s musical drama feature “Maestro” at Netflix.
The story portrays a love story between Leonard and Felicia over 30 years from when they met in 1946 and through a 25 year marriage and three children: Jamie Bernstein, Alexander Bernstein and Nina Bernstein Simmons.
Cooper co-wrote the film with Josh Singer and will direct, produce and star as Leonard. This marks his first directorial effort since “A Star is Born”.
Mulligan will be seen in “Promising Young Woman” later this year and recently worked on “The Dig” for Netflix.
