Following the announcement teaser the other month, Capcom has now released a new trailer showing off gameplay and cinematics from the upcoming remake of the most celebrated title of the “Resident Evil” franchise – “Resident Evil 4”.
The cinematic trailer reveals characters like Leon, Ashley, Ada, Luis, Mendez, Saddler, and El Gigante, along with some of the notable set pieces of the game.
The extended gameplay clip shows off the early part of the game that now takes place at night, and the first house is decidedly bigger and requires more time to explore. There’s also a look at the village fight sequence.
The game will have a digital-only deluxe edition with four costumes for Leon, two for Ashley, two filters, two deluxe weapons, a treasure map, sporty sunglasses, and the ability to switch to the original soundtrack.
There’s also the collector’s edition which is all that plus a steelbook, digital soundtrack, a Leon statue, an artbook, a poster, a box, and an extra DLC product code.
That wasn’t the only title teased at the Showcase presentation today. A trailer is also out for the “Resident Evil: Village – Gold Edition” which hits stores next Friday (October 28th). The trailer focuses on the DLC pack “Shadows of Rose”, which continues the story of Ethan’s daughter, Rosemary.
The ‘Gold Edition’ also boasts a Third Person Mode allowing you to play the main story mode from a new perspective, the ‘Mercenaries Additional Orders’ that introduces new playable characters and stages.
Finally, there’s the launch trailer for “Resident Evil Re:Verse,” the multiplayer title available for free to those who’ve purchased “Resident Evil Village”.
“Resident Evil Re:Verse” is a survival revenge battle game in which two-to-six players fight to the death. Familiar characters duke it out against each other and terrifying creatures from the series.
