“F9: The Fast Saga,” the ninth film in the “Fast and Furious” franchise, is coming to the Croisette.
The Vin Diesel-led $200 million action feature has been revealed as the ‘secret blockbuster’ screening at the fest – the premiere there coming ahead of the film’s local release in France in July.
Justin Lin, who helmed the third through sixth films, returns for the new entry with John Cena joining the various returnees. The movie has already opened in China and select Asian markets where it has already grossed over $250 million so far.
In the United States, the movie is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 25th.
