Jamie Campbell Bower (“The Mortal Instruments”) and Travis Fimmel (“Vikings”) have signed to star in “Towards Darkness” director Antonio Negret’s new Riviera-set, action thriller “Overdrive”.
Bower and Fimmel will play car thief brothers whose permanent vacation in the South of France turns deadly after they fall foul of a local crime kingpin.
Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (“Wanted,” “2 Fast 2 Furious”) penned the script, while “Taken” helmer Pierre Morel produces.
Shooting begins in southern Europe at the end of the year.
