“Twilight” and “Never Back Down” hunk Cam Gigandet will star opposite Leighton Meester in Screen Gems’ psychological thriller “The Roommate” says Variety.
The story centers on a deranged college freshman who becomes obsessed with her new roommate.
Gigandet will play the boyfriend of Meester’s character. Christian E. Christiansen is helming from a Sonny Mallhi screenplay.
Roy Lee and Doug Davison will produce and filming kicks off in May.
