When it comes to Netflix originals, it’s pretty safe to say that smash hit supernatural drama “Stranger Things” is one of the company’s most franchiseable pieces of new IP.
Speaking at a recent Code Conference, Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos hinted that an expansion of the “Stranger Things” franchise is likely with potential spin-offs as this is ‘a franchise being born’.
In addition, the report suggests Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven could lead one of those spinoffs following her recently signing her own Netflix deal. The fourth season of “Stranger Tings” doesn’t have an official release date as yet beyond an early 2022 start.
