Brigitte Nielsen (“Beverly Hills Cop II,” “Red Sonya”) will play the villain in the superhero-themed action series “Gods and Secrets” from producer Adi Shankar (“Castlevania”).
The thriller is said to be about the dark side of a world populated with superheroes. Plot specifics are under wraps.
Nielsen plays a ‘modified version’ of the villain, taking over for former “Glee” alum Mark Salling who was indicted last year for receiving and possessing child pornography.
Shankar re-shot scenes with the Danish-born thesp earlier this month with the show which is now in post-production. Kellan Lutz, Denise Richards, Will Yun Lee, Jane Seymour, Jackson Rathbone, Edi Gathegi, Sharni Vinson, Derek Mears and Chaz Bono co-star.
