Brief “Batman” Score, Design & Actor Bits

In the wake of the first glimpse of Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit released online the other day, there have been some more updates from Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” film project.

First up, composer Michael Giacchino has confirmed on Twitter that the moody music piece you hear in the reel is indeed from his score for the movie though it’s likely an early test.

The design seen by fans has been dissected to death with some loving and some hating either the leather cowl, the Arkham-style armor plating, and the new chest symbol which appears to be made out of pieces of a gun. There’s numerous fan art which has changed up the color scheme of the design, though the most appealing has been this gif which simply ‘takes the red out’ of the original.

Actress Zoe Kravitz has spoken with Variety about working with Pattinson and has spoken very highly of her co-star saying they have been training together and rehearsing together and “he’s just a delightful person and such a wonderful, thoughtful actor”.

Pattinson and Kravitz have actually known each other for a decade, but this will mark the first time the pair have worked together in a professional capacity.

Also co-starring in the film is actor Jeffrey Wright who plays Jim Gordon who apparently isn’t quite commissioner yet in the film which is said to take place in Batman’s second year fighting crime. Wright has today posted a blurry photo of what apparently is the Bat-signal in the final film.
