The just-released second season of “Bridgerton” and the recent Ryan Reynolds-led film “The Adam Project” are both shaping up to be massive hits for Netflix.

In its first three days, “Bridgerton” S2 clocked in 193 million hours of viewing time worldwide – the second-highest opening weekend total of all Netflix series, behind only “Money Heist” at 201.9 million hours in September last year. It also made the top ten in 92 of the 93 countries that rankings are tracked (Japan is the outlier).

For now, it is on track to surpass 400 million hours of viewing for its second season by Sunday and could well catch up or pass the 625.49 million hours of viewing the first season did in its first 28 days which is Netflix’s major measure of its biggest hits.

That season remains Netflix’s biggest English-language hit but is not even close to its Korean-language juggernaut “Squid Game” which logged 1.65 billion hours of viewing worldwide in its first 28 days last year.

Meanwhile “The Adam Project” has already reached the No. 7 position on the streamer’s all-time list of the top ten most popular English language films it has produced after just three weeks. That also puts three Reynolds films in the top ten with “Red Notice” at No. 1 and “6 Underground” at No. 9.
