Netflix has announced that Shonda Rhimes’ sex-fueled Regency costume drama “Bridgerton” has been a hit for the service.

The show is projected to reach 63 million households within 28 days of its Christmas Day debut. The show has also reached the number one spot on Netflix’s top 10 rankings in 76 countries.

If that number holds it will be one of the biggest original series launches of all time for the service. “The Witcher” remains atop with 76 million, “Bridgerton” would be fighting it out for somewhere in the next four alongside “Money Heist,” “Tiger King” and “The Queen’s Gambit” which all scored in the low-mid 60 million range.

Reviews for the series have been excellent, the show holding a 92% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and talk is currently rife about the show’s male lead Rege-Jean Page being a potential choice for the next James Bond.
