Beloved veteran comedic actor Bob Odenkirk reportedly collapsed on the set of the sixth and final season of AMC’s “Better Call Saul” late yesterday.

TMZ broke the news, indicating the 58-year-old star was shooting on the show’s set in Mexico when he collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is still receiving medical care at last report.

The actor has seen a career surge in recent years following his scene-stealing turn in “Breaking Bad” and the spin-off “Better Call Saul” for which he’s received much acclaim.

His throwback action film “Nobody” also scored rave reviews and grossed nearly $60 million at the box office off a $16 million budget, and that was during pandemic conditions.

UPDATE: Odenkirk’s representatives have issued a statement saying the actor is “in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident”.

The statement goes on to say he and his family would like to express gratitude for the doctors and nurses caring for him, the cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side, and the outpouring of well-wishes from the public.
