Blumhouse and Boom! Studios are teaming up for the werewolf drama “Curse” based on the comic by Michael Moreci and Tim Daniel.
The story centers on a widowed father desperate and financially broken from trying to save his child from a rare illness. Seizing the opportunity to claim a reward offered for the capture of a killer in his rural community, he inadvertently captures a werewolf.
Jason Blum, Couper Samuelson, Ross Richie and Stephen Christy will produce. Boom! set up a film version of “Irredeemable” at Fox last week with Adam McKay set to direct.
