Showtime is developing a limited series about ride-sharing company Uber and have set “Billions” showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien to produce.
The series will be based on New York Times reporter Mike Isaac’s recently-released book “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber” with the author to serve as a co-executive producer on the adaptation.
The series will depict the roller-coaster ride of the upstart transportation company, embodying the highs and lows of Silicon Valley as internal and external battles within the company ripple with unpredictable consequences.
Koppelman and Levien will write and executive produce under an overall deal with Showtime.
