Ahead of “The Lion King” theatrical release on Friday, Grammy winner Beyonce Knowles-Carter has officially dropped the full music video for her new single ‘Spirit’ from “The Lion King: The Gift” album.
“The Lion King: The Gift” will be a different release from the original motion picture soundtrack being produced by Hans Zimmer and Jon Favreau. Produced and curated by Beyoncé, ‘The Gift’ features global recording artists and is steeped in the sounds of Africa.
It is scheduled for release on July 19th and the video for the song below includes a cameo by the superstar’s daughter Blue Ivy. The film opens in theatres July 19th.
