Bettany: “Vision” TV Series Filming In 2025

Paul Bettany has teased that he’s already prepping to get to work on the “Vision” TV series for Marvel Studios which is expected to hit the streamer in 2026.

Speaking at the L.A. premiere of Robert Zemeckis’ “Here” on Friday, Bettany tells THR that filming on the project will begin next year.

He says: “we’re cooking up something that I’m really excited about” but can’t say that much due to Marvel secrecy, adding that “snitches end up in ditches”.

The new series would mark the second spin-off of “WandaVision” following the currently airing “Agatha All Along,” both those shows were steered by showrunner Jac Schaeffer.

Bettany tells the outlet he’s watching “Agatha All Along” and intends to study it for help with his series:

“I love it. I love it and I’m so proud of [showrunner] Jac Schaeffer and I am going to watch again because there’s so much for me to learn moving forward into my contribution.”

A writer’s room for the “Vision” project was first rumored to have opened up back in late 2022 before the strikes and Disney’s slowdown of its rollout of Marvel product took place.

As a result, it has taken a while but now it seems to be finally moving forward with “Star Trek: Picard” Season 3 showrunner Terry Matalas steering while James Spader will reprise his voice role of Ultron.

Bettany will return as the android Vision who fell in love with the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), was destroyed by Thanos, and then returned via a combination of magic and a rebuilt pale white body in “WandaVision”.
